UHPA Submits Testimony for HB 1668 & SB 2993
Executive Director J.N. Musto has submitted testimony opposing HB 1668 and SB 2993, which proposes to eliminate tenure for Bargaining Units 5 and 6.
Critical Hearing to Eliminate Tenure
Your testimony opposing House Bill 1668 is needed. There will be a joint hearing at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, at the State Capitol Room 309 with members of the House Committee on Education and the Committee on Labor and Public Employment. House Bill 1668 proposes to eliminate tenure for Bargaining Units 5 and 6, which could pose a real threat for higher education. Read more....
