The UHPA endorsement process begins with its Legislative Action Committee (LAC) members conducting a thorough screening that includes legislative reviews, election assessments, informal discussions and official candidate interviews.  The LAC recommendations are presented to the UHPA Board of Directors for final endorsement approval.  The LAC is made up of UH Faculty serving as a UHPA Board of Director.
